94 gmc dies in heat every 5-10 miles
 

I have a 94 GMC 1500 pickup truck with a 350 engine automatic transmission four wheel drive while driving in hot temperature about 90 to 95 degrees my truck all of a sudden died on me when I pull over and turn it off it'll start back up then I can run another 10 miles or so then it'll die on me keep doing that I would always have to pull over turn the key off wait for about a minute then start it back up and then I could drive another 5 to 10 miles no check engine light flashing engine temperature was at 195 what would cause that I thought maybe a vapor lock I undid the fuel cap but I didn't leave it Loose I just opened it up and screwed it back on tight but it kept doing the same thing I've never had this happen before thank you for your time and to anyone that wants to put in their two cents worth I'm not sure if it's a fuel issue with bad gas because I just filled it up or some type of electrical issue to a sensor or something

You should try flushing your radiator. That can do wonders for a vehicle!

or maybe sweep the bed out, right?

Have your ignition control module tested at your local auto parts store. Sounds like a possible culprit

I had the same problem with my truck. I replaced the fuel pump relay and the problem went away.
