ok i recently picked up an older truck to play around with. it is a 1994 chevy silverado ext cab. 305. 4l60e trans. 4wd. now im new to chevys and when i popped the hood i saw something that wasnt familiar to myself. it looks like a fuel injected carbuerator. is this what chevy calls the TBI? any info on this set-up would be greatly appreciated.

 

Yes that is the throttle body. decent milage and reliable, clean likea carb.

 

got the same set up in my 95 and i have a 350.. i love it

 

yeah TBI = Throttle Body Injection
