Ive posted previously about redoing the interior of a 95 ext sierra. Has anyone ever swapped out a bench seat for bucket seats and the console?
Is there welding and alot to it or is it fairly simple.
would it be smarter to just find an aftermarket set? Do they even have that? If so, any links?

I am planning on redoing the interior from blue to black everything if that makes a difference. so the aftermarket can be black or tan also

 

Real simple on those trucks. You just have to drill the inside holes for your seats and 4 holes for the console. If you can find a set of factory buckets the outer holes are the same and the inner holes are already dimpled to be drilled. If you are using some other brand buckets than you will probably have to drill all 4 holes (for each seat). If you go that route I would recommend getting some thick metal to use as reinforcement for the floor and use it as a big washer on the bottom side.

 

What about going to seats from 99-05 model? How would the rear seats work if they were done as well. Does the seats still fit? I dont mind drilling new holes and what not.

It would be great to find some 95-98 factory seats but ive been having trouble finding them.

 

How would 99 tahoe or 2000 yukon seats do in this truck? would there be many mods to put these in?I have found some from both thaqt i really like. Both are tan, what about the back seat what is my option there? rear buckets wouldnt work or would they?
