New here ,need info two questions i have 4x4 1/2 ton 350 with thottle body 188,000 mile runs good schould i use regular oil or can i use like mobil one ? oil has been changed 3,000 since new, #2 if i want to buy a different motar can i use newer year or is that big deal with computer? love to get engine with more power i plow alot ? thanks

on that motor youll wanna keep using conventional oil. im not sure on the newer motor swap tho. you can always change the motor thats in it for better power tho.

Best case senerio, use the same brand but a synthetic blend. But like Argon said its best to just use what you have been using. When you say throttle body, you mean TBI? I have some tricks you can try to boost the power, especially torque.
