Default '96 Starter issues.

So about 3 days ago my starter went, so I replaced it. But I went out this morning to start it and it wouldn't go. It just clicked but wouldn't engage. Starter is brand new, Battery connections are tight, no wires loose to the solenoid. It worked absolutely perfect last night, so i'm not sure what has made me go through 2 starters in less than a week. Anyone have any Suggestions?

Are you sure its the starter?
Try boosting it. If it starts, I would suspect battery...If not, maybe a dud starter. They are generally warrantied for a time.

Pretty sure its the starter because its doing the exact same thing as it did when my starter went 3 days ago. Battery was bought in November, so it should be ok I hope. I'll try boosting it though. Thanks!

I would have to agree with Poncho, If you haven't got a slow draw in your electrical causing your battery to slowly die. Or you got another bad solenoid or bad starter.
