96 wont start after repair
i was getting the code p1351 so i changed the ignition coil. i bolted it up plugged everything in and now it wont start. it just cranks over. i tryed to fix a problem and now i have a bigger one can anyone help?

If it ran with the original coil, I would reinstall it and see if it will start. If it does, I would check the new one for continuity with an ohm meter. If it doesn't run with the old one, you may have broken a wire or pulled one loose inadvertently. Good luck and let us know what you find.

I agree with SlimJim!

i put the old one back in and it started right up. So i guess ill find someone with a ohm meter and check that out like u said. u think i got a dud and should get another new one or is there somthing ur supposed to do with a new coil besides bolt and plug it in?

i found out the problem i inspected the coil a little bit and turns out when i plugged in the wire i bent one of the prongs in the connector on the coil, bent it back and she starts. i was thinking, i dont no why i didnt see it before but i have a bad coolant leak and dont no where its comming from. i also have po300. i think i blew a head gasket considering thats a big job and thats the kind of luck i have. that will cause misfires right?

Pull your plugs to see if one of them is fouled by the coolant leaking into the cylinder. Sounds like you got ahold of a tar baby. :)

ok ill check it out thanks
