97 chevy truck
 

i need a little help i have a 97 chevy truck 34 ton 4 wheel drive 454
had some problems last week replace almost every thing to make the truck start, still won't now i find out that i must short out the fuse box under the hood positve side to the wheel well befor the truck will send power though the computer, had the computer scaned they said computer is junk, well it was not getting any power. if i short it out the truck will then start, WHAT WILL CAUSE THIS, HOW DO I FIX IT

it sounds to me like you have a bad ground somewhere in the computer system...cant you just ground the system and make it run?
