My wipers have a mind of their own, most of the time when you turn them on the motor hums, but they don't work. I play with the switch, and yank on the wipers to get them going. This problem has been a pain for awhile, does anyone have any ideas?

 

Change the wiper motor. If it hums, it's getting power, but, the motor is weakened to a point where it needs a bump or more power. Check your voltage coming into the motor first to make sure you don't have a corroded contact somewhere first becauseI think changing the motor is a bit of a pain.

 

its the wiper module...screwed to the motor...its a citrcuit board.....easy to change....about 65 bucks GM

 

Yup, it was the pulse control board, 30 bucks at advance auto and 5 minutes to change it..
