99' Silverado Exhaust
 

I recently bought a 99' Silverado 5.3 and I want to put an exhaust on it. I want something that sounds good, but wont set me back on mpg. Any suggestions??

my Flowmaster series 40 sounds great and there is no loss in MPG's.

Thanks, I was leaning towards an original 40, but I didnt know about how it affected mpg. Thanks

Try the Super 40 Flowmaster w/ Delta Flow. Its a black muffler, and its a bit bigger than the original. Its sounds very clean and crisp. Its got a great rumble at idle but not over done. I get tons of compliments on it.

Any of the flowmasters with single in dual out will sound good and increase milage as well as power.

i have the original Flowmaster Series 40 on right now, single in/single out.. i have a New Flowmaster Series 44 with Single in/Dual Out.. Just gathering some money so i have it redone.

The new muffler you have will not decrease milage, just will lok better and probably sound stronger. Should be fairly cheap to have it swaped in and add the pipes.
