Truck Forums - AC Problem

Check to see if the AC pressure switch is letting it come on when you have the problem. Check it by using a test light and seeing if it is allowing the system to comeon. If the switch senses that there is not enuf pressure in the system then that is why it is not allowing the pump to come on. If the swich is sticking then that might be a reason why the system comes on when you reset the battery.

Other than that, the next thing that I would check is to see if the pump is getting juice to the cluch. If that doesn't get power than it will not come on. When the truck does it again, start tocheck these things and see what you come up with. If you find something then roll with it.
