Does anyone have a diagram for a 98 chevy K1500 air conditioning system. For the compressor, dryer, condenser and all. Mainly the location of the inline filter. I just replaced the compressor and dryer and need to replace the inline filter and cannot find where it is located.

Well.....replacing the filter CAN be optional...but it should be done if the system has been open too long...any way....it it located in one of the 2 lines that runs to the condensor. (passengers side down by the battery...remove the air box to get to it easier). the fitting will be brass (gold color) on one side and regular on the other. hope this helps.

 

Yeah its in that fitting. Its an orfice tube.
