Hey about 3 weeks ago I got a 2008 Chevy Silverado 5.3L, I was wondering what are some good things I could add to my truck to give it gains in horsepower and torque. Im willing to spend up to $500.
If you could also when you name a product tell me how much horsepower I would gain from it and how much torque I would earn from it

Tuners are a definate. Hypertech, Diablo are both good ones. I have hypertech but I think I would like the diablo for more adjustable features it has even though it cost a little more. The K&N intake 63 model is the best for that truck and expect to see about 17 hp from that.

 

HYPERTECH IS CRAP, Crap, Crap x10000000 on gas chevy trucks, i know i wasted money on 2 of them. go with a custom tune. blackbear performance. since its an 08 you might want to spend the extra money and keep your original computer for warrenty work. just check his website. just remember that on your 08 you have a pcm to control the engine and a tcm to control the trans.

im getting one of his scan cable tunes in the next couple of weeks. justin has great customer service so far, answers all my stupid questions.
