axle info/transfer case
 

Hey everybody,

New member here trying to find some information about a 2000 silverado I recently purchased. Wondering if anyone out there might be able to tell me something about the transfer case I might have in the truck and what axle's I may have or what was common.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Just happened to think today that I should have listed a little more information about the truck. It is a regular cab, short bed, standard 4x4 with a 4.8L V8 engine. I have plans for a 6" Fabtech or Skyjacker lift later down the road and 35" tires max (if poss. w/ only 6" of lift). Other obvious modifications like dual exhaust, k&n cold air intake, and performance chip are on my list too. Any information anyone has or any leads as to where I could find this inforamtion will be awsome. Thanks for reading.
