First thanks for the invite! I own a 89 k1500 was thinking of doing a front axle swap or would be cheaper to to buy a rolling frame and what year with solid axles would work with my 89? Looking for some positive feedback thank you

 

I don’t know what would be cheaper. That would be a lot of work to swap an entire frame. Shoot, you might be better off buying an entire square body truck.

I see a lot of guys buy complete SAS kits. There’s a couple of Facebook groups out there relating to SAS. You could try Googling solid axle swap kits to get an idea of cost and what’s involved. Maybe YouTube has a couple of videos.
