what info do you need when i hit about 30 kmh and lower its like the abs kicks in and when the speed is lower i have to really push the pedal to stop or pump the pedal as soon as i feel it.It is a 2000 gmc sierra Z71 4x4 automatic transmission with a 5.3l motor.I think there was a recall on it but not sure i didnt get any info on it.

I have the same problem with my truck, feels that the abs kicks in prematurely....I also can bottom out the pedal at low hard braking speeds. feels very spoungy...I have yet to try bleeding the brakes...

Honestly it sounds like the Master Cylinder is goin out. Try driving and then when you brake, pump it fast and see if it builds up pressure and the brakes get tighter. If it does then the plunger in the Master Cylinder is goin bad. It is a wearable item meaning its not a defect. Mine went out about 100k.
