Default Banks SS or MBRP aluminized?

I am looking to get an exhaust for my 2006 Silverado and i have come to a difficult fork in the road...i found a super cheap Cool Duals MBRP aluminized exhaust for $190 but i've heard bad stuff about the aluminized systems falling apart in 1-5 years...or i could pay full price for a Banks SS single side exit exhaust...

Any suggestions?

What does the 2006 Silverado come stock with? Aluminized or SS?

Thanks

Not with either of those set ups. Most guys here just have gone with Flowmasters or Magnaflows. IMHO those are your best deals.

You should be fine with Aluminum. If you have the money to go with stainless you should and you would never regret it but aluminum is just fine.

I would go stainless if you have the money. The aluminized system will rust out eventually.

Both flowmaster and magnaflow have direct bolt on kits. They use the existing hangers and the pipes clamp together.
