Default Battery

Has anyone had problems with emissions after replacing the battery?

the I/m monitors will have to run to completion to pass an emissions test. Changing the battery will probably make all the monitors read incomplete or test not run.

Did you fail an emissions test after changing a battery? Or is this a myth your trying to find out whether it true or false.

I honesty don't think this will cause a "FAIL" result on a emission test. Wurst case you will get a "NOT READY" result.

Thanks guys. Went for inspection. Technician said machine couldn't complete the test because the vehicle wasn't "ready". Guy I bought it from said he changed the battery recently. Got to drive through some more cycles I guess. I'll see how I make out tomorrow.

Drove it another 150 miles or so today. Passed. Did it work it self out, or did he just want to get it out of the shop? Don't know, Don't Care. I got a sticker!
Thanks for the input.MB.
