Battery light ?
 

hello, battery light is on all the time, even when truck is off, replaced battery and altenator and no change, put a meter on the batt when running and it shows about 14.5 volts charging back to the battery so altenator is working, any ideas?

I'd look at the wiring for the light. You could ickup a haynes manual from Autozone, good to have anyways, and look in the back for the wiring diagrams for the battery light.

My first suspicion was the alternator, but I see that you've already replaced it. What year is your truck?

it's a 04 2500hd with the 6.0 engine, I am also having a multipal misfire and am wondering if these to things are connected.
