Bed swap question

Will a bed from a 2001 3500 dually fit on a 96 dually without alot of frustrating modification? Was able to find a take-off bed same color as my truck. Just wondering, Thanks Dave

It should fit just fine, the bolts may be in a different location but I think even those might be the same.

i think dragons right gm didnt change much with the newer trucks frames as far as mounting goes so let us know how it bolts up

You might also want to check the measurement from the back f the cab to the center line of the rear axle, and fuel tank/bed clearances
