Bent drive shaft outer tube/housing - corp 14 Bolt
I have a 84 K20 that is lifted and rolls on 39.5 swampers - it appears that i have bent the drivers side of the rear axle housing right at the point where it joins the main casing for the crown.
While I'm not a noob to message boards or the internet I have been unable to turn up any definitive answers to this problem.
My questions are these:
Can I bend the tubing back?
Can I remove the tubing from the center casing?
Do I need to buy a whole new axle casing ... or worse a whole new axle?
The truck drives, it does kind of dog track down the road and has ruined the tire on that side because of this ;-/
Thanks in advance. - I ll try and attach pics later.
