Blinker blowing fuses

So last week after plowing for 12 hours on wednesday, My turn signals quit working as well as the parking lamps. The lever would lock into position but nothing would happen. I found it was a blown fuse and replaced it... didn't think anything of it.

So today I haven't plowed at all and I parked the truck for an hour. Came back outside and the turn signal doesn't work. I just did a quick check, but it seems that all fuses are good... any ideas?

I am aware that I have a faulty ignition switch... could it cause the problem?

Not sure, but Im sure once you replace it, we'll find out then, although Im guessing it is.

I'm too cheap to replace the ignition switch until it warms up and I can do it myself...

Anyways, I did some more searching, and while last time the turn signal fuse was blown, this time it was my hazard/door dinger fuse that blew this time.

I'm just curious whether or not it would be connected to that ignition switch problem??? I've postponed the switch replacement by tying the acc and on power lines together so I'm drawing power from a different source. I don't want to replace the switch and find I've got a bigger more expensive electrical problem on my hands
