RE: Blinker fluid
i think im going to try the engine oil bypass... anybody think there will be long term effects on my engine?
|
RE: Blinker fluid
I wouldn't use "long term" and "oil bypass" in the same discussion. It would be more like Start > Rev > Boom! Lol. (And thats if you actually get it to start).
Matter of fact, do these trucks still have that safety thing where the oil pressure needs to be so high in order to start? I think my 91' did. Like if there was no pressure, it wouldn't start. |
RE: Blinker fluid
i had a buick that did that too. what a pia it leaked about a 1/4 quart a day!
|
RE: Blinker fluid
idk my friends pontiac was leaking about 4 quarts a day right when he stopped driving it. still started and drove. but mannnnnnn 4 quarts a day gets expensive. ended up being a O ring.

RE: Blinker fluid
My jeep is a big oil leaker (4.2 - 258 inline 6). Although they say if there is not oil leaking down the side of the motor then don't drive it, it is empty. Gotta love that AMC oil guage. Funny that they made such a great torque motor, but couldn't stop it from leaking.
