Well, it's been not quite two weeks since I replaced the flasher in my Silverado.

Yesterday it started doing the same thing. Something is causing this, and I sure would like to know just what.

 

Well, It's been almost two weeks since I replaced the flasher. Yesterday the new flasher started doing the same thing as the old flasher. It can be heard, just clicking it's litle heart out when it should be silent. No lights flashing, just the flasher clicking away.

Shure would like to know what is causing this.

 

I replaced the flasher about ten days ago. Yesterday it started doing the same thing, that is, the flasher is clicking away and nothing is flashing with the turn signal lever in the neutral position. Moving the lever around doesn't seem to change anything.

Sure wish I knew what is causing this.

 

I dont know why but I have heard that when a car is stolen the same thing happens. We they steal cars they start it thew the column Maybe something in there is shorting out.

 

I have the same prblem, my flasher keeps sounding when it is in nutral position and it should be silent. I have taken it appart and put some cardboard folded up to dampen the sound. It works temporarily but it would be nice to get a silent blinker. If you hear of one let me know. In the mean time I keep putting stuff inside it to dampen the sound. The latest thing I'm trying is a spoungy ear plug.
