Well, I just purchased this 2013 Sierra 5.3, and it has every option that GM offers just about, with the exception of a block heater.

I will be working in northern MN quite a bit next winter and it is a must have for that climate. What is the best add on block heater for my vehicle? What would you suggest? Should I just go to a dealer?

On another note, unlike Ram and Ford, GMC and Chevy opt for the ugly exhaust pipe out the side, even on their high class pickups. I just want to get a little chrome tip to bolt on to the end, but I don't even know where to start. What would you guys suggest?
