Unhappy blower fan for heat and ac 1 and 2 out

Hey guys i am have some ishues with my truck ive had it for 1year now. She is a 2003 gmc sierra 2500hd crew cab 4x4 first my blower did not work on 2 and then to day it dosent work on 1 do you guys have a suggestions? i am strating to have some ishues with this truck now and all the help is greatley appreciated thanks

Sounds like the blower resistor which is under the dash on the passenger side. It has 2 screws holding it in place and has a wiring harness that is plugged into it. Good luck!

No, you just have to drop the panel from under the passenger side dash. I believe it has 3 screws. If your truck is a work truck model it won't even have the panel. After that is removed it is right there and very easy to get to. Look to see if yours has burn marks on the resistor, if it does it may be included in Chevy's buletin and will need the newer upgraded resistor and the wiring/plug replaced. Even if that is the case it is still very easy. The kit you get from the dealer has very good directions and comes with the wire connectors. Good luck!

so today i went under the dash and found them thanks to your hell of a good knowldge of gmc lol. and the resistor was burned so i am going to replace that now i just need to find were to get them from thanks for the help
