Why not just get the real Flowmasters installed? What did you get Flopro's?

I have magnaflo's and they are great. I would highly suggest getting an X-pipe or something like it so that you get the added benifit of it. I am going to do this once I get some time on a lift and a welder in my hands.

You could try those vortex mufflers or even glasspacks. If you dont have much money then that would be the way to go.

I had a single glasspack on my 90 model dualed out and it sounded great. I had many people compliment me on it instead of my buddy's truck with a flowmaster dualed on it.

Its really hard to discipline myself to use very little throttle to save gas. The truck gets louder, the performance goes up, the more throttle we put to feel more of the performance. Drive a sleeper and we could cruise it all day to save gas cuz you dont hear the engine. So what I'm sayin is its hard to get an exact MPG with added performance. So I myself only have estimates, but I know for a fact it does increase MPG. You will notice it doesn't take much throttle to get going than it did before. So in a sense technically you should get better.
