brake problem on my 03 silverado

I bought my truck about a year ago and havent had any problems out of it until recently... My brakes started making some noise so I just thought I was in need of a brake pad replacement. I had put it off and it gradually started getting worse as to where the ABS was activating when I'd go to stop from time to time... within a week it was almost every time i went to stop the ABS would activate. I changed my brake pads today and I am still having the same problem. And when i take a curve to the right side I can feel some shakiness in the front drivers side. Im thinking this may be the hub assembly but I'm really not sure.... I had the same problem before i changed the brake pads but I just chalked it up to that. And since I've replaced them it obviously isnt that. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

what kind of noise?...a hub sounds like an airplane propeller, usually.

yeah,i'd say its a hub then..probably screwed the speed sensor, which a gm hub comes with a new sensor..

Dose the ceter of the wheel get super hot when the hub is bad??
