Brakes stuck

Newbie here looking for some help my right rear brake started making noise on my 2001 GMC Sierra with 68000 miles so I changed the disc pads now when I hit the brakes the calipers lock up both of them if I hit on them with a rubber mallet they will loosen up but will lock back up first time I hit the brakes. I broke the banjo? nut loose but I still have to wack the calipersto break them loose what next? Could I have collasped both hoses during the install, but shouldn't they release when I break the banjo nut? Seems funny that both calipers are doing the same thing by the way I did bleed them did I miss something here.I picked up two rebuilt calipers tonight but nobody had the hoses. help!

Since both calipers lock,I'd look el;sewhere...like a master cyl or balance valve.

the fronts are free?

Yes the fronts are free just the back one thats why I think I may have collasped the hoses when I flipped them up to push the pistons in it's the whackin part thats making me second guess whats going on.

I doubt it,but its possible....more likely, pushing the pisons back (without opening the bleeder) pushed some dirt into the m/c bore

I had the bleeders open while pushing the pistons in

Nope! I had to order the brake lines. I'm working 12 hour shifts at the plant and the Mosquito's are really bad down here. I'll post when I figure it out I've read there isa GM tool to cycle the ABS for bleeding computer related I'm sure, but I didn't break the line on the other side of the ABS I don't know where to start. I have on hand now 2 calipers and the lines.

Ok. It's rollin, this is what I did I hate doing things like this but I changed both calipers both hoses and that took care of it basic parts changing at it best .I did however cut the hoses looked like new on the inside. Istill don't know what caused the problem. I checked the pads during and after about a 10 mile ride there was about a 9-10 degree differnce in the temp's the one that started the mess is the coolest. My fingers are crossed driving to work tommorow in it . I hate it when people post prob's and don't follow thru with a fix
