Default Bubble in the carpet

I have a 2005 Silverado Ext. Cab LT, My driver side carpet has bubbled out on the side of the center console right next to/infront of the gas peddle. Its a built in center console, NOT thebench seat where the console flips back to seat 3. It interferes with my new floor mats. Any ideas how to fix?

Well if your going to cover it up id slit it and rim if if I had to in order to get it to sit flat. Then glue it down.

Thanks for the replies.

Its not to big of a concern to cut it. Now the iron idea...Yea, i could try that...not sure if it will work since its like on the side of the bottom of the carpet to where it rides up a few inches to the center console infront of the gas peddle. it feels liketheirsa layer of plastic lining under the carpet cause when i push the bubble in it pops out.

I'm gonna try to get a picture.
