Im planning on making my own, I work in a welding shop and do light fabrication alot. Im just a welders assistant as of now, so Im no expert. The way I see it, I want to get the truck worlds theories and the welders world. I take great pride in how fast that truck is and the fact that ITS LEVEL (more clearance to go offroad, I live in nebraska you know). So, any Ideas on how to make a super strong yet super light kit?

 

well i do not think you are going to be able to go strong and light. especially if you are on any kind of reasonable budget at all, just because the materials that you would need to use are too expensive.

 

Yeah grill guards by Ranch Hand are super duty heavy. Built very well!! So I would shoot for good materials rather than cost.
