Buying A New TRuck? Try Out of State
 

I have to believe that seeing so many users talking about high prices and new trucks, there is something you guys don't know about GM.
I bought my 99C5 and 02Z/28SS from Les Stanford Chevy in Lansing Mich; I live in Calif. Why did I go out of state? How about a 7k difference on my C5 and 5k difference on my 02/Z28SS. Why? Because they are there, not 2500 miles of transport away. Ok, you ask what about delivery, it has to cost a mint and would defer any savings. Wrong. GM and I mean all GM does what is called a "Courtesy Delivery," for free anywhere in the lower 48. You just pay your state taxes minus the Delivery fee that your dlrshp would normally charge you when the car arrives. Courtesy means just that; no delivery fees. Shop out of state and chances are, you will find a dealer who NEEDS THE SALE, much more than the local "HOUSE OF MANY CAR COMPANIES."
