a/c question 95 1500
 

hey does anyone know where the expansion valve goes in my 95 gmc 1500, i just brough a new a/c compressor drier, and it came with a orficer tube type expansion valve but i cant see where it would go looks like it would go in one of the a/c hoses. I am hoping someone here will know thanks for any help

It is in one of the hard lines - either right on the passenger frame rail or sometimes right near the condenser (grill removal is necessary). There should be a little dimple in the line to hold it in place.
