I have a 1998 GMC Sierra with an A/C vent problem. The a/c works but am unable to get any air to come out of the dash vents. It will come out of the floor vents. It appears that it may be stuck somewhere. Does anyone know how to free the vents up so that it will blow air out the dash vents? Thanks

 

I have that same problem on my 97 Sierra. My mechanic says its somehting sticking but the only way to fix it is to take off the dash board and well i really dont feel like going through w/ that. Mine also happens w/ the heat not just the a/c
