CAI for a 2003 tahoe
 

Hey guys...

Just calling around the area looking for prices on cold air kits for my Tahoe.

I got a price of $370 +13% tax for a "Valant" kit ?

I have a 5.3L in the truck, what would be the best kit for me ? or would that $370 valant be sufficient ?

You can get a whole valant kit on ebay for about 100$
You can find them online at a reputable online store for less than 300$

If you're semi handy you can easily install it yourself.
Also, if you're the same guy that was asking about a CAI in that other thread, don't make anew thread just reply to the one you posted.

Nope...looks cool but does nothing for power or gas mileage....great boat anchor, though

If you're getting an intake, get an exhaust to go with it. More air in means more air must get out. You'll save a little on gas and gain in the hp area.
