Cam and lifter question

I am looking to get a new cam and lifter set for my truck but have no idea where to begin. It's a pretty much stock 1993 Chevy 350 engine. I'm looking for one for my daily driver that is occasionally my hunting and fishing truck. I want one that gives me a little more towing power... Any help would be greatly appreciated

Not gonna lie, don't know how to help you here. I personally would go for a heads/cam/intake combo, put long tube headers on it and true duals, but now you're talking a mild built engine lol Sure would wake that truck up though I'm sure.

Good luck! I've been researching what to do with my 383 stroker, there's lots of good threads out there on builds people have already done using chevy 350 engines, so chances are you'll find a combo out there that sounds appealing.

I'm leaning towards a thumpr cam with hydrolic lifters. I'm most likely going to swap out the intake and heads later down the road but not sure where I want to go with those yet
