Camper Mirror swap on 2009 GMC Sierra 1500

I am trying to swap mirrors on my 2009 GMC Sierra 1500 4WD EXT CAB SLE from DL3 mirrors to camper mirrors. Does anyone know what is involved to make the swap and still maintain the same functionality?

I recently damaged my DL3 mirror on the driver side. Did you get swapped out and do you still have the driver side mirror assembly? I'm interested in it.
