Change to full Synthetic, now burning oil...

When I got my truck it had 65,000 on it and I switched to Amsoil 5W30 and it's never started using oil at all.
There are some other reasons why some 5.3L engines use oil and it has nothing to do with what type of oil you are using
If you do some searching you'll see one of the valve covers has been updated by GM that causes some issues, but your 2011 should already have this so maybe you have bad valve stem seals or something.
