First of all I would Like to say hi to everyone.

I love these forum for all the helpful info and I have a question

I have 96 z71 with a 350 head gasket blew I found A pretty new engine it is in a 94 or 95 z71 the guy wants to sell engine will it work in my truck.

Also I dont know which way to go with this truck fund are an issue any help or suggestion would be great.

94 and 95 will be a TBI motor and yours is a vortec so you will have to use your heads and induction system you also need to make sure that the new motor is set up for the roller lifter set-up you have in your motor. It would be easier to fix your head in my opinion.

What would replacing the head or head gasket take to do. I have water in my oil and water coming out of the exhaust on passenger side
