Default clicking noise

i have a 2000 chevy silverado 2500. it has the 6.0.
it has clicking noise in the drive train somewhere.
i have replace both cv shafts and that didnt cure the
noise. i'm thinking it might be the u-joints in the front
drive shaft. any help would be greatly appreciated.

ujoints would be my first choice. but if you cant find the problem use a dowl. but if you cant, move the truck in foward and reverse a few times. that might help to pinpoint the problem too.

one more thing try to see if the driveshafts have any play to them that would help to. they should be fairly tight.
