Clicking noise when it changes gears?
 

Hi hows it going, new to the forum and had a question. I've got a 2007 Chevy silverado with about 33,000 miles on it. Recently every time I put the truck in gear it will make a clicking noise,which can only be heard with the windows down, and everytime it changes gears it clicks. Was wondering what it could be and what I should do about it, thanks alot!

Thats a tough one...there are a number of things that could "click" in those situations. I would definitely take it in to the dealer since you should still be under warranty. Take advantage while you can. It's free! Let us know what you find out. Good Luck!

sounds like possibly a u joint to me but if you have a warrenty the dealer is the way to go

Took it to the dealer last week. Took them 2 days to figure it out lol, apparently it was my drive shaft, luckily it was under warranty. Replaced that and clicking is all gone, its alot more responsive too. Thanks for help.
