owned a decent 1991 gmc sierra 4x4 single cab , shes got 166,000 and its 4 speed (with overdrive). i Basically learned to drive stick in this truck , i beat the clutch a couple times in the first day but i have driven standard before , anyways i got good at it and everything felt fine until , It started getting hard to shift from 1st to reverse. then eventually My clutch pedal went right to the floor and i lost pressure and had to get a drive home. This is my first standard vehicle and im wondering how much it'll cost, do i need a whole new over haul? i called one place and they gave me a quote of 1080!! ...is that right? anything else that mite have happend that would be a cheaper fix?

 

I am not positive, but am pretty sure your truck has a hydraulic truck....the fluid in it may just be low...check that 1st
