Default confused

So I have a 92 k1500 5 speed just went from a 4.3 to a 350 a month or so ago and had no problems untill my alternator went out a few weeks ago I put a new one in and it ran fine here until the rain started here recently and then my gauges all started messing up when I pushed in the clutch or give it gas I will lose all gauge powers except my speedometer which flickers back and forth and I lose radio power and my windshield wipers barely work my thought was wet distributor cap but any other ideas

I would check the fuse box for corrosion or poor connections. The distributor cap doesn't have anything to do with the gauges or the radio and wipers.

Default Ground? That will take out all guages

Sounds like you are pushing the wiring bundle around either inside the cab or outside the firewall.

It was a ground wire loose from the fire wall to the back of the motor
