i was wondering if you had a v6 would you lift it because im not sure if i should or not... want a 3 in body though

 

i dont know... i've never driven one if you think it would turn over bigger tires go for it...

 

Fixed it for ya! To answer THAT question, yes, yes you should go ahead and get a V8.

 

i say if its not v8 or bigger then its not worth having around

 

Lifts are Ok BUT.....

V6s + big tires = no ***** and bad gas mileage

Even my 91 was sluggish and bad on gas when I had bigger tires on it and it was a 5.0.

The guys at RCS (local engine builders and fabricators) tell me that v6s and low hp v8s are terrible to lift and have huge tires on.

 

if i were to put a v8 would i need a new transmission or no?

 

What trans do you have now? And a body lift wont effect your engine performance but if you plan on going with bigger tires you will want to get different Gears. it has a 4 spd electric transmission and my gear ratio is 3.42

 

Is it a 700r4 or a 60e 65e 80e 350 turbo 400 turbo

 

i really dont know the answer to that because simply i dont know what that is...im trying to learn about trucks (especially chevys)
