coolant capacity 1998 chevy c1500 4.3 ?
anyone know the amount of coolant in this truck ? I think I have a small leak in the head gasket ( hopefully not a head , a little sign of burned AF on 2 plugs ) and did a flush today and then added Irontite sealer but it would not take as much anti freeze as I thought it should ...maybe .7 gal I added the rest to the expansion tank .

Total coolant capacity;
“VORTEC” 4300 V6 Auto. 11.7 quarts (11.1 L)

Manual transmission equipped vehicles are more, because there is no transmission cooler in the radiator.
