Its a set of pistons that help the tranny shift during open throttle. The corvette servo is an upgrade over the factory ones put into the 4l60e. It provides firmer shifts from 1-2 and 2-3. Many people have done this cheap, and I mean very cheap, upgrade to their trannys. Some get a 2nd gear scratch. Here is one to purchase and a video to understand how easy it is to install. You just need to jack up the passenger side of the truck and takes about 30-45 mins.

Yea, i love mine, nice firm shifts 1-2, alittle firmer 2-3, at WOT, and just a little firmer under part throttle

Yes that 99 would have it. And chris no sarcasm given. Just impressing that a little TM brought down with a corvette servo is great combo.

Default Corvette Servos

Ok so been readingabot these Corvette Servos alot lately. Just wondering if anyone hd any issues afterputting them in. Also if I put them in after installation is there anything else ounee to do? Also looked at the webpage withthe servos, http://www.transmissionpartsusa.com/...ion_s/3139.htm
noticed th expensive one which says improves 1-2, 2-3, 3-2 kickdown, and 3-4 downshifts.

Honestly is this just so you can squeal your tires? Don't get me wrong I love burning rubber too. lol
