i have a 91 chevy 1500 short box regular cab. My windsield needs to be changed befor i can pass inspection and i need it on the road asap and the trans am off for winter. i can get a used windshield pretty cheep anyone have any experience in changing them?? i'd like to do it myself or would i be better off paying extra and having it installed??

 

Round here it costs about 225 installed. Thats about average cost. You can do it yourself. Just get some help.

Rob, you might just manage to destroy it completely trying to do it yourself. There's a sort of expertise that goes into fixing those windshields right so you better let the professionals deal with it. Don't mind spending that extra penny, wont do you much harm! Just a suggestion brother. ATB with that.
