Crankshaft sensor fails
Hello,
I have a 2013 Chevy Silverado 1500 WT with a 4.8L engine.
The truck will not start, will not even turn over. If I replace the crankshaft position sensor (which was a forum suggestion) it will start right away and work for about 3 to 4 months and fail again.
I've replaced 3 sensors with immediate success in just over one year.
I've also had the alternator, battery, and starter replaced.
Has anyone ever experienced this issue?
Three shops have not been able to figure it out. They plug in the code reader and replace something that has not fixed the problem.
Welcome any ideas.
