I knew that gm owned isuzu but i had no idea that ford owned cummins. why does ford still use the international powerstroke?

RE: diesels

Becouse they have a contract with international, which may be up in the air. considering the amount of problems they had with the 6.0 diesel that had all the problems with the flaiming tail pipes. Chevy has been using Isuzu motors for years. The old 2.8L gas motor, Isuzu motor. I have also heard that Toyota has been looking at caterpillar for a diesel tundra. Does anyone have more info on the matter?
