Default Do you like a truck stock, lowered or lifted?

I like a truck to look beefy...slightly bigger tires than stock and a very minimal lift, if any at all. How about you?

Stock height, larger tires, perhaps 17", 20" rims.

I have two out of three of my criteria on my own truck. Works just fine for me.

Sounds like we have similar taste nullhead. Mine is stock height right now and I think I am keeping it that way.

Does anyone know if the z71 and/all terrain package sits higher and more level than a regular 4x4? I hear a lot of guys putting leveling kits on their trucks to bring the front end up to match the rear. My truck is only about an inch difference, stock...I have a z71 all terrain.

Now, I never said anything about not liking a lowered truck. The lowered truck look can be achieved while still looking nice, but most of the lowered trucks I see aren't the greatest looking.

In my mind, a 2wd "toy" truck should be lowered a little. Give it some good power, stiffen the suspension for better cornering and lower it a little. Plus you can't lift a 2wd truck like you can a 4x4. And having a lifted 2wd truck is sorta pointless unless you just like the look. There's nothing to gain from it like a 4x4 would gain ground clearance.
