Dome Light
 

on my 2003 3500 4X4, standard cab, base model the dome light used to work. It has stopped working but will come on when I use the dash rheostat to turn it on and put the truck in reverse it turns on. I have looked to see if I had a blown fuse but didn't find one for the dome light, and I know from past experience that is an indication that something is wrong but I haven't found it. can anyone shed any light as to where I might now look. thanks for any help

Do any of your lights work when you open the door? How about if you open the passenger door? I'm thinking it could be the door open/closed switch. It's either a little button on the door jamb or it's a part of your door latch.

the "TBC-2B" (15A) fuse was blown, now I have to see if I have a bad ground so it doesn't back feed any more
